Western GeoPower Unit 1 – The Geysers Western GeoPower, Inc., a subsidiary of Western GeoPower Corp. Western GeoPower, Inc. is a California corporation, wholly owned by parent Western GeoPower Corp., a British Columbia corporation. Western GeoPower, Inc. holds 100% ownership of the geothermal leases for the Unit 15 steam field covering over 1000 acres within The Geysers Geothermal Field in Sonoma County, California. The leases grant WGP the right to re-develop the geothermal reservoir and build a new plant for electricity generation.
